Brauvin Net Capital, LLC has acquired a Verizon Wireless retail/service center/cellular network tower located in Anderson, SC for $1 million. The asset is leased by Cellco Partnership, d/b/a Verizon Wireless. With just over 57 million subscribers, Verizon Wireless is the second largest wireless provider in the United States. The current market capitalization for Verizon Wireless is $109 billion. Verizon Wireless possesses an "A" Credit Rating from Standard and Poor's as of the date of closing. The asset is located in the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson SMSA area which contains 24% of South Carolina's population of 4.3 million.
The location is one of the top ten performers in the Verizon system with its 400 store region. In addition, the 160 feet tall cell tower provides Verizon phone relay service for the area. Because of these attributes, Brauvin believes there is a high probability that the lease will be renewed with the operator upon maturity.
