James Brault is responsible for the overall operations of the Brauvin organization. Prior to joining the Brauvin organization in May 1989, he was Vice President of the Commercial Real Estate Division of First National Bank of Chicago ("First Chicago"), based in their Washington, D.C. office.

Mr. Brault joined First Chicago in 1983 and his responsibilities included the the origination and management of commercial real estate loans. During his six-year tenure with the bank, he restructured or refinanced nearly $360 million in commercial loans as well as originated $160 million in new loans.

Mr. Brault received a B.A. in Economics from Williams College, Williamstown, Massachusetts in 1983 and an M.B.A. in Finance and Investment from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. in 1987. He is an Illinois Real Estate Broker and the son of Mr. Jerome J. Brault.
